About the Team

Sebastian Seidenberg

I grew up always loving TV shows, comic books and manga that were filled with lots of action, over-the-top violence and bizarre imagery, my tastes developing more towards horror and weird fiction of all kinds in my adult years. I decided to start conceptualizing RAW almost three years ago now to swirl these interests into one pile, to develop a horror action comic inspired by all the weird things I love.

I did freelance work on gaming journalism sites as a teenager before I instead decided I wanted to start shoring up on my creative writing skills. While my body of works may not be very deep right now, I did find some fans as a horror writer using the name Skullmunch. Most of my stories have been read on Youtube or on podcasts in some form or another, but RAW is my first crack at finishing something huge and complex that I want to make more compelling stories with.

Kay C. also provides me a unique opportunity that I never thought I’d get to see: being able to build stories from a visual medium instead of a purely textual one. Hopefully this will be a thrilling, action-packed ride for you, watching the culmination of years of discovering what I wanted to make as both a writer and a creator. This is our first crack at comics, and we’re happy to have you along for the ride.

Kay Leigh C.

The artist behind RAW and the one helping breathe life into the words I put on the page. She’s been doing professional freelance art for five years and has been developing her skills actively for nearly twenty years total, covering a wide range of styles and genres. She is only now moving into the world of professionally creating comics, previously mentored in the subject by Scott Flanders (found online as Shapecarver,) of Riot Games fame.

She’s done commissioned CD covers for bands, logos, book covers, fanart, and much more. She has extensive knowledge of the artistic process, making her very flexible and versatile. While she’s never done a comic before this, she’s confident in her abilities to realize the world of RAW in a unique and interesting way.

She’s also got plans to make Fight City in the future, a science fiction comic about a demon-possessed vigilante wolf man and his companions.
